Trail Work

Each week we are getting requests from land owners for volunteer work on their trails. The problem is that the demand is outgrowing the volunteers!  Want to help?  Please contact our trail crew leader:

RIDE?WORK Red Hill/ Red Devil 6-24-11

Want to ditch work this Friday?  How about riding some sweet trail and doing some trail work instead?  Join us at Anjou Bakery at 7:30am, Friday, June 24, for coffee and sustenance.  From there, we are going to the Sand Creek Trailhead (aka Red Devil/Hill Trailhead).  We will be bringing our bikes and riding up past the 2.5 mile mark to fill in major ruts.  This is a super fun trail (if your not allergic to a little climbing), but it could use some serious love.  Bring water, snacks, gloves, sunscreen, and your bike.  We will provide the tools (and carry them in on a BOB).  When we get back to the trailhead, we will provide lunch and beverages.

Red Hill Red Devil 6-12-11

Your turn Wenatchee riders….  Did you miss the work parties at Freund, Bear Mountain, Echo Ridge, or Homestead?  Well, here’s another chance to give back to the trails you love.  We are going to have a work party this Sunday, the 12th, and we will work on the Red Devil/Red Hill loop, connected to Devil’s Gulch.  We will meet at Anjou Bakery at 8:30am, for those in need of coffee or pastries, or you can meet us at the Red Hill Trailhead at 9ish (also called Sandcreek trailhead).  Bring long pants, gloves, water, food, sunscreen, and muscles. We provide the tools.  We will be back at the trailhead around 2ish for food and beverages provided by Evergreen, or bring your bike and go for a ride afterward.  If you want to car pool, or for any other questions, send me a text/email or call.

Remember the more love we show our trails, the more trails we will love.

Ride on! Ride on!
